Agfa Vista Plus 200 was a budget ISO 200 colour negative — actually a Fujifilm-made emulsion sold under the Agfa Photo name — famous for saturated, cheerful colour at pound-shop prices. Discontinued in 2018, it earned a devoted following that still hunts expired rolls.
Character & look
Vista Plus 200 leaned into bold, slightly warm saturation with punchy reds and greens, fine grain and forgiving latitude that made it very easy to shoot in daylight. It behaved much like Fuji's own C200/Superia line, which is unsurprising given who made it. Cheap, cheerful and reliable, it was the default 'just load something' film for a generation of point-and-shoot users.

Shooting & development tips
Shoot at box speed in good light for its signature pop, or overexpose a touch for creamier highlights. As a discontinued film, check expiry — colour-negative film ages gracefully but shift and base fog grow over time, so add a stop of exposure for older stock.
