About this tool
Colour processing runs to a strict standard sequence at 38°C, and the order and timing are unforgiving. Pick C-41 for colour negative or E-6 for slide film, and the timer runs the full sequenced chemistry for you, developer, bleach, fix and stabiliser, with beeps marking each transition so nothing is missed.

FAQ
How tight does the 38°C temperature need to be?
Very tight, especially for the colour developer, where roughly plus or minus 0.3°C keeps colour balance correct. Use a water bath to hold temperature, and treat the later bleach, fix and wash steps as slightly more forgiving.
Can I use this timer for E-6 and C-41 interchangeably?
No. The two processes have different steps and durations, so select the correct one. E-6 adds a first developer and reversal stage that C-41 does not have, and mixing them will ruin the film.
