Bulk count allows about 60cm for leaders. Frame spacing on 35mm is roughly 38mm per shot including the gap.

How many exposures you get from a roll depends on the format and the frame size you choose. Pick 135, 120, 220, or bulk film, and the tool shows how many shots each frame size yields. This makes it easy to compare, say, 6x6 against 6x7 on a 120 roll before you load your camera.

Why does 120 give different counts?
A 120 roll has a fixed length, so larger frames use more film per shot. A 6x4.5 back squeezes in about sixteen frames while 6x9 gives only eight.
How is bulk film counted?
Bulk 35mm is loaded into your own cassettes, so the count depends on how much film you spool into each one rather than a fixed factory length.
